dEUS, fondé à Anvers en 1991 par Tom Barman, est issu de la bouillonante scène anversoise qui veut que chaque musicien qui se croise forme un groupe dans l'heure qui suit. Ce qui explique les nombreux changements de personnel endurés par dEUS depuis ses débuts et les nombreux groupes qui lui sont apparentés tels que Zita Swoon, Dead Man Ray, Kiss My Jazz, Vive la Fête ou encore Evil Superstars... dEUS parvient depuis le début des années 90 à concilier audace, énergie et sens mélodique. Des l'équipe originelle, le groupe n'a conservé que son Barman et le fidèle Klaas Janzoons au violon, mais ils tiennent bien le cap.

The Cardigans est un groupe de musique suédois. Le style musical du groupe a beaucoup changé d'album en album, passant du rock indépendant à une musique inspirée des années 1960. Chaque album du groupe a réussi à attirer l'attention de différentes audiences. Le groupe se fait connaître avec le hit mondial Lovefool, tiré de l'album First Band on the Moon (1996). Nina Persson, la chanteuse des Cardigans, s'affirme de plus en plus comme une vraie song-writer, et sa très belle voix, dont Peter Svensson, le guitariste, sait parfaitement se servir, complète à merveille ses compositions en leur apportant une plus grande profondeur encore.
