The Ting Tings est un groupe Anglais de rock constitué de deux membres (duo) : Jules De Martino et Katie White. Formé en 2006, le groupe est originaire de Manchester, plus precisément de Leigh. Ils ont enregistrés 3 singles sur leur label actuel Columbia Records et le single 'That's Not My Name' a atteint la 1er place le 18 Mai 2008 dans les charts des singles du Royaume-Uni. L'enregistrement de leur album We Started Nothing fut terminé le 19 Mai 2008 et s'est également hissé à la première place des charts aux Royaume-Uni. Le mot tīng signifie écouter en chinois. Leur pop est efficace, dansante et joyeuse. Blondie, le Tom Tom Club, Nico ou encore Television font partie des influences revendiquées par les Anglais.
