MacKinnon Amanda Palmer est un artiste charismatique plus connue pour être la chanteuse, pianiste et compositeur de la "Brechtienne punk cabaret" duo The Dresden Dolls, ame de ce duo cabaret-punk. Après trois albums avec le batteur Brian Viglione, cette artiste complète, tente l’aventure en solo et nous offre un album solo intitulé « Who Killed Amanda Palmer », titre délibérément inspiré de la série culte de David Lynch « Twin Peaks », composé de splendides ballades au piano.
