The Horrors décrit un peu comme la bande freak de la nouvelle scène anglaise, est un groupe de punk/garage anglais formé durant l'été 2005. Les Horrors, avec un style rock-gothique, ont évidemment une vague d'influences importante. Dignes héritiers des Cramps, confondant The Monks, Siouxsie and the Banshees dans leurs précepteurs, important les crissements d'orgue et de guitares des Screaming Lord Sutch... mais les membres possèdent déjà des sonorités qui leurs sont propres. Leur nouveau album a été produit par Geoff Barrow de Portishead, tout simplement...
