Syd Matters est un groupe emmené par le musicien français Jonathan Morali. Il est le premier vainqueur du concours CQFD organisé par Les Inrockuptibles.Leur troisième album, intitulé Ghost Days, est sorti le 14 janvier 2008. Il est plus folk et dépouillé que les précédents.

Goldfrapp, ou le fruit d'une collaboration entre Will Gregory et Alison Goldfrapp qui s’est d'abord fait remarquer comme chanteuse sur les premiers albums de Tricky et Orbital. Le duo s'inspire des compositions de Gustav Mahler, Nino Rota, Françoise Hardy, Kurt Weill et Ennio Morricone. Le fruit de cette association est à rapprocher de la forme musicale primitivement inaugurée par Portishead, ce n'est d'ailleurs pas un hasard si un des membres participe à l'album Felt Mountain paru en 2000, où l'on retrouve des sons dignes d'une bande-son de films noirs.(http://www.goldfrapp.com/)
